Available Seats under AP Competent Authority Quota50% of Andhra Govt Institute seats and 50% of Andhra Private institute seats (under State University)

Seats Split:

  1. Siddhartha Medical College, Vijayawada: Available seats are split into 4 sets. AU local, SVU local, OU local, and UNR (Unreserved seats)
  • All other Institutes except Siddhartha MC, Vijayawada: Available seats are split into 85% local (either AU local or SVU local) and 15% UNR (Unreserved)

NON-LOCAL eligibility CRITERIA for candidates who completed MBBS from any state other than AP/TEL (includes FMGs) – Anyone of the below

  • Candidates who have resided in Andhra Pradesh for 10 years excluding MBBS
    • Candidates whose parents have resided in Andhra Pradesh for 10 years excluding period of employment outside state
    • Employees of the State Govt, Central Govt, PSUs, Local Bodies, Universities, and other similar Quasi-public institutions in Andhra Pradesh
  • If the candidate is the child or spouse of those who are employed in these entities – then the candidate is eligible
  • Candidates who are spouses of local candidates as mentioned in the table
